In 2010, Peter served as Cultural Envoy for the U.S. State Department for I Value All These Voices, a two-week-long project of art workshops with a culminating exhibition in Ramallah, Palestine.
On January 21, 2010, the U.S. State Department’s Public Diplomacy program in Jerusalem and the Palestinian Ministry of Culture hosted the art exhibition I Value All These Voices at the International Academy of Arts in Ramallah. The exhibition brought together work by more than 60 Palestinian artists and represented the culmination of two weeks of intensive workshops for professional artists from throughout the West Bank, students from the International Academy of Arts, youth from the Ramallah-based Young Artists’ Forum, and women from the Jerusalem Artists’ Forum.
