716 Candles
Reminiscent of Peter’s former work with the New Day Campaign, 716 Candles is a series of free events taking place in Maine’s Lincoln County to mark International Overdose Awareness Day. Peter has been engaged by Healthy Lincoln County to help produce the project, and he is thrilled to bring this sort of work to his new home community.
We See Your Light
For the past several months, Peter has worked closely with the Youth Resiliency Institute (YRI) on a project about Baltimore’s Cherry Hill neighborhood, a community ravaged by substance use and in need of more support services. Art and stories about Cherry Hill’s residents (its “shining lights”) will be featured at YRI’s annual Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival July 4.
