Seeking Sense

An exhibition at The Park School of Baltimore organized by Peter Bruun during his tenure as Exhibition Educator at the school in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Created to support community healing, Seeking Sense was built around six words—beauty, hope, gratitude, uncertainty, community, and sorrow—each representing an attitude or sanctuary for seeking sense. Each gallery wall was devoted to a word and either a poem or works of art standing as embodiment of that word. In addition, a box for community members to add drawings, writings, or objects, or lift the lid and have a look inside at what others were contributing.
