AIMe

Artivism in Maine (AIMe) combines the power of art and activism to inspire change and address social, economic, and environmental justice issues across Waldo County and beyond. AIMe will take part in the event on July 24.

ArtVan

ArtVan is a nonprofit based in Midcoast Maine that brings mobile arts therapy and creative programs to youth in under-resourced communities. The organization will take part in theevent on July 9.

Chocolate Church Arts Center

The Chocolate Church Arts Center is a vibrant cultural hub located in the heart of Bath, Maine, dedicated to promoting the arts and fostering community engagement. The organization takes part in the July 9 event.

Freedom & Captivity

Through exhibitions, performances, podcasts, and public conversations, Freedom & Captivity invites Mainers to imagine a future without prisons and to explore abolitionist ideas and practices, and are a partner in the event on July 24.

Fund to Support Historic Alna

The Fund to Support Historic Alna is an Alna-based nonprofit dedicated to preserving and activating Alna’s historic spaces. It supports festival programming at the Puddle Dock Village School and the Alna Meetinghouse.

Healthy Kids

Healthy Kids is a nonprofit that supports children and families in Lincoln and Knox counties through education, resources, and prevention programs. The organization will participate in the event on July 9.

Hearty Roots

Hearty Roots is a nature-based resilience program that supports youth in building confidence, connection, and emotional wellbeing through outdoor experiences. The organization will participate in the event on July 9.

HITT

Helping Incarcerated Individuals Transition (HIIT) is a community of justice-impacted individuals using art, theater, music, and film to support successful reentry and build connection. HITT partners on the event on July 24.

Live from Love Center

Live from Love Center in Bremen is a wellness and community space dedicated to healing, connection, and creative expression. The center is a planning partner for the event on August 2.

Main Street Music Therapy

Main Street Music Therapy in Damariscotta provides clinical and community-based music therapy services to people of all ages and abilities. It is a partner for the July 30 and August 2 events..

MPAC

The Maine Prisoner Advocacy Coalition (MPAC) works to advance justice, dignity, and systemic reform for incarcerated people and their families in Maine. MPAC will share artwork by justice-impacted individuals at the July 20 event.

MERN

Maine Reentry Network (MERN) is a statewide nonprofit organization focused on providing peer support and connecting individuals returning to Maine communities from prison, jail, and treatment courts with the resources they need to successfully reintegrate. MERN is supporting the events on July 20 and July 24.

Maine Youth Thriving

Maine Youth Thriving is a statewide initiative that centers youth voice and leadership to build healthier, more connected communities. They are co-organizing and participating in the  event on July 9.

The Peace Gallery

Founded to honor and support veteran artists and their stories, The Peace Gallery in Damariscotta is a community-centered arts space committed to fostering connection, creativity, and healing through the arts. It hosts three events for the Puddle Dock Village Festival.

Reentry Sisters

Reentry Sisters is a Maine-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women who have been impacted by incarceration and are transitioning back into their communities. They will take part in the  event on July 20.

Right Here Wellness

Right Here Wellness offers trauma-sensitive, inclusive bodywork and wellness services that center the nervous system and support healing from stress and trauma. They are a partner for the event on August 2.

Volunteers

The Puddle Dock Village Festival is made possible only because of the hard work and commitment of many community partners working behind the scenes – individuals not affiliated with any particular organization or program but who help on everything from envisioning events to being a part of them: It takes a village to build a festival.

Puddle Dock Village Festival is a Studio B Project

Studio B uses arts and humanities to support community justice and wellbeing. We seek to empower marginalized and isolated populations through art experiences, exhibitions, and community programs that address pressing social issues, while also highlighting our shared humanity.
