Black Male Identity

Following his tenure as Director of Art on Purpose, Peter Bruun was contracted by the organization to support the 2011-2012 Black Male Identity project as Coordinator, offering his knowledge of Art on Purpose methodology and management abilities to the project.   

Peter Bruun’s duties included organizing community-based art workshops for Baltimoreans to create art about positive black male identity, and implementing a number of exhibitions and events. A visitor takes in Black Male Identity: Community Voice, one of several exhibitions organized by Bruun as part of the project.
